I was born in Miami, where my earliest memories and especially today are of drawing, creating, and building just because it was fun. In 2008, in the middle of a global housing crisis, my family moved back to Santiago, Chile. That shift to the Andes defined my career in how I think of landscape connection and design.
I spent 6.5 years in Chile becoming a licensed architect, studying at Universidad Diego Portales. During that time, I won first place in both the national (CAP) and international (Alacero) competitions for a kindergarten design—an elliptical bridge structure designed for a seismic country. Competing against 1,200 projects across Latin America and winning opened doors I never expected, allowing me to collaborate with some of Chile’s most inspiring architects, such as Cristian Boza.
If you’ll allow me to ramble a little: architecture, to me, is about feeling. It’s the ability to be in a space and experience something that transcends just a ‘box’. Whether it’s a perfectly framed view, moss growing on an angular stone fountain in your courtyard, or a ramp that pulls you into a hidden garden. I am obsessed with what a location needs to be. My mind lives in proportions, measurements, atmosphere. I don’t believe there is a problem without a beautiful simple, clean solution.
Since returning to the States in late 2023, I’ve been a “tourist in my own country,” letting life take me where it wants me to be. Professionally, I have applied my international background to high-end residential, commercial, and historical projects in the U.S.
I am ambitious, creative, and always eager to learn. Whether I’m working within a collaborative team or taking ownership of a solo project, I am focused on one thing: getting things built to the highest level of design quality.
Dual Perspective: I am a Chilean-licensed architect (#307834-5) and an American citizen. I have completed my NCARB experience hours and am currently finalizing my U.S. licensure exams.
Bilingual Fluency: Being native in both English and Spanish gives me a distinct advantage on-site and in complex project coordination.
Concept to Craft: I have served as a lead architect on independent projects and as a “maker” in the shop. Comfortable with CNC fabrication, custom furniture design, Revit – BIM modeling, consultant coordination, and client meetings.
